About Paays
The trust network for auto finance
Paays is a Canadian financial technology company that verifies car buyers for dealerships and lenders. Identity, income and anti-money-laundering checks run on one platform, and every verification connects to the Paays network, which shows dealers and lenders the fraud a single check cannot see.
Why Paays exists
Fraud moves between dealerships. Verification did not.
Identity verification was built for one deal at a time: one buyer, one document, one dealership. Fraud in auto finance works across them. The same person tries several stores under different names, with documents good enough to pass each check.
Paays connects each verification to the ones before it, at every dealership on the network, and puts what the network knows beside each result.

Paays is led from Toronto. Its leaders have run product, engineering and customer operations at RBC, Capital One, KOHO, Flinks and Edlio, and its founder spent two decades in global capital markets.
